The staff (Joe, Helen, Rebecca Wallis and Tank) at DBVC welcome you to our new website. We started this practice in July 2003 and it has developed into a great place to work and a well equipped, friendly place for Clients and pets to visit. Some of the common compliments we get is that it does not smell like a Vet Clinic, and how good it is to have an independent full Vet Clinic in Hallidays Point. We do try to make you and your pets welcome.

Christmas and the New Year have come and gone and soon the children will be back at school. We have recently made donations to the Hallidays Point Public School and the local Rural Fire Brigade as well as supporting the Rainbow Flat RFS by buying up a book of their tickets in their fund raising drive after it was burnt down in the recent fires.

We appreciatively note that it was the Diamond Beach RFS that was actively involved in fighting the fires and protecting property close to and on our property at Failford. These "firies" deserve all the praise that they get and probably even more for the time they give servicing our community. Also thanks to all the people who helped when properties had to be evacuated. Even Tank (who is one cool dog) was visibly agitated and struggling with his breath during the fires.

Remember that your pet must stay on Tick protection all year round, as we are seeing more Tick cases in Winter than summer now because of a mistaken assumption that ticks can't be active in the cold weather. It is nice and warm on a dog or cat's skin .

Make sure your pet's vaccinations are up to date (We recommend yearly) as there have been Feline Enteritis in Cats in Sydney and Parvovirus in dogs in areas around us. If you have any questions regarding your Pets health, do not hesitate to call us. Thank for your support over the past 16 1/2 yrs and we hope to continue our relationship with you and your Pets. Lots of licks - Tank Oliver Power ( the Oliver part is because I always ask for more please) .
